Mr. Dave Arneson, the co-creator of D&D with Gary Gygax, passed away on April 7th, 2009 from a battle with cancer. He was 61.

This is sad. Too soon gone, just like Gygax.

A loss to gamers everywhere, whether they know it, or not. These guys were the giants of the field. Their kind may not come again.
